Keanu Reeves Plays Main Part in Movie about Siberia and Diamonds

Keanu Reeves is going to act in a movie about Russia. The Hollywood star was bestowed the main part in a new film project directed by Matthew Ross. The genre of the movie named «Siberia» was defined as «a romantic thriller». According to TASS the start of the movie shooting is planned already this year.

Keanu Reeves plays a salesman of precious gems from the Unites States. He comes to Russia to sell blue diamonds of unknown origin. His character fails to close a deal with the Russian merchant, but at the same time he finds his beloved – Katya – hostess of a tiny restaurant in the small town deep down in Siberia. The script of the movie is written by Scott Smith, it will be produced by a German film studio.

While the new movie about Keanu’s adventures in Siberia is getting ready, another film with his participation is released – it is the second part of «John Wick».
