The British government does not answer the Moscow’ requests on Sergey and Julia Skripal case, the Russian embassy in London says. According to it, Moscow has done dozens of inquiries but no answer followed.

For nine months since the poisonings in Solsbery the Russian embassy had addressed to the UK Foreign Secretary, Home Department, police but they kept silence. This questions were repeatedly asked during the personal contacts with the Foreign Secretary representatives.

Russian diplomats tried to find out where are the Skripals, their condition, the treatment process and the details about the inquiry.

“Almost all questions, suggestions and recalls were ignored”, the embassy says.

The diplomats maintain that London’s actions violate the diplomatic courtesy. The British authorities act contrary to the canons of civilized relations norms. In addition, they breach both the international law and human rights.

Sergey and Julia Skripal are under constant and full control of the authorities. They remain isolated and unable to communicate with their relatives, they are denied the freedom of movement, they are not allowed to meet with representatives of Russia.

"The British authorities persistently continue to refuse the embassy in direct contacts with them in order to find out the real state of their health, conditions of detention, and most importantly, to estimate whether they voluntarily agree to be treated this way”, the diplomats state.
