A new project launched by the Russian House in Buenos Aires will acquaint Internet users with the life and achievements of Russian scientists. It is timed to coincide with the Decade of Science and Technology in Russia, which started in 2022.

The project opened with a lecture on Dmitri Mendeleev. The geologist Pablo Cubasca, who heads the gemological laboratory of the Banco Ciudad bank, spoke about the creator of the Periodic Table. He emphasized the importance of the scientist's work for today's science and stressed that his discoveries became the basis for the development of geology, mass production of fertilizers, oil production and the synthesis of precious stones.

The next lectures of the educational program will be dedicated to Igor Kurchatov and Yuri Knorozov.
