Israel, France, Spain and other countries participate in Yekaterinburg film festival

Films from Spain, France, Serbia, Israel and other countries have been included in the program of the 1st ''One Sixth'' International Film Festival of Debut Films of the Eurasian Continent, which kicked off in Yekaterinburg. The organizers received more than 200 applications, the program includes 24 films, TASS reports.

The jury of the forum included Hong Sangwu from South Korea, a specialist in selecting Russian films for the Busan Film Festival, Iranian director and screenwriter Fard Ghaderi, well-known Russian actors and specialists. The prizes aew awarded to fiction and non-fiction films in various categories.

The Minister of Culture of Russia Olga Lyubimova addressed the participants of the festival and the audience via a video message. She noted the importance of the forum for the Sverdlovsk film studio and filmmakers who are taking their first steps in cinematography.
