21.04.2022

The 4th All-Turkish Children's Olympiad in the Russian language has summed up the results of the first round.

The competition is organized by the Association of Teachers of Russian Studies and Translators of Ankara with the support of the Russkiy Mir Foundation, the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia (RUDN), with the assistance of the Russian embassy, the representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo, MAPRYAL, ICC Artek, the Coordinating Council of Russian Organizations compatriots of Turkey and the Ankara-CLT publishing house and the Russian Cultural and Information Center in Ankara.

More than 6,000 people from 32 cities of Turkey took part in the competition. Among them are students of Turkish universities, colleges, students of Russian language courses, children of compatriots, schoolchildren studying Russian as a foreign language.

Children and teenagers who participated in the first round were invited to take a test organized by the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia on the university's digital platform. These tests check the child's ability and readiness to use Russian as a language of communication in any situation. Even small children who have not yet learned to read in Russian can take the test: the PRE-ALPHABET (4+) level has been specially designed for them. Test participants receive a RUDN University certificate.

The final round will be held on May 13-15 in Antalya.
