The World Coordinating Council of Russian Compatriots called for holding events dedicated to the anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War online. Immigrants from Russia and other former republics of the Soviet Union were invited to join the Immortal Regiment - Without Borders! International campaign. It is held under the Our Victory - My Story motto.

The council notes that restrictions aimed at counteracting the spread of the coronavirus infection have led to the emergence of statements that holiday celebrations should be abolished. Some even believe that Victory Day should not be held during the epidemic.

Nevertheless, compatriots are confident that the victory won by the ancestors at the cost of terrible sacrifices cannot be taken from their descendants. No quarantine, no financial and economic crisis can do this. “We should be neither confused, nor scared, the heroic history of our Fatherland cannot be changed by the virus,” they are convinced.

The action can take place at a variety of venues, including social networks, sites, blogs. They offer to publish pictures of veterans, soldiers who fought on the fronts, toilers working to the point of exhaustion in the rear, and post stories of heroic ancestors. Every compatriot, who is not indifferent to the preservation of the memory of the feat of the Soviet people, can join the action.
