Representatives of 42 countries take part in massive test on Russian history

The international campaign Test on the History of the Fatherland is held on Friday, December 13, TASS reports. According to Maria Voropaeva, who heads the Youth Parliament under the State Duma, representatives from 42 countries will be among the participants, including residents of Brazil, Armenia, Thailand, USA, Germany and other countries. There are about six thousand registered sites.

Maria Voropaeva said that parliamentarians, cultural figures, leaders of public organizations, and other famous people would answer test questions in Russia. Everyone can join the action. For those who cannot come to the site, the test will be held online.

The test will mark the beginning of the Big History international project. It will combine several actions and events dedicated to preserving the memory of the Great Patriotic War. Another important task will be the popularization of historical knowledge.

The program will include a traveling Woman in War exhibition, it will be seen by residents of all Russian regions. The In Memory of the People festival, dedicated to the victims of the Holocaust, is planned. The organizers are going to invite amateur children and youth theater groups to Moscow.

The program also includes mass races. They will be joined by residents of hero cities and cities of military glory. At the beginning of next fall, young people will be invited to discussion platforms, where they will talk about important issues of studying history and preserving historical memory. In the spring, the Big History project will continue with a test on the history of the Great Patriotic War. As a result of the action, it is planned to introduce several law drafts.
