Days of spiritual culture of Russia are held in Minsk

Days of the spiritual culture of Russia will start in the Belarusian capital, the Rossiyskaya Gazeta reports. Their participants will be cultural figures of the two countries, scientists, politicians, diplomats, representatives of public organizations and everyone.

The focus of the event is on the theme of historical memory and the common cultural heritage. The signing of agreements on mutual tours is planned, and the prospects for the development of pilgrimage tourism will also be considered.

The program will start on the evening of September 19 in the Minsk Concert Hall. Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Belarus Dmitry Mezentsev, Belarusian Minister of Culture Yuri Bondar, Deputy Culture Minister Alla Manilova are expected to be honored guests.

Along with the music program, the Historical, Cultural and Spiritual Community of the Russian and Belarusian Peoples Forum will be held in the same room. The discussion will continue at the Moscow House. Three round tables will be held - they will be dedicated to Alexander Nevsky, Fedor Dostoevsky, as well as language and literature as a unifying factor in bilateral relations. Thematic exhibitions will be dedicated to the commander and writer.

The next day, experts at the Moscow House will discuss the preservation of the historical memory and spiritual heritage of the two countries. The speakers will be the head of the Russian State Library Vadim Duda and the representative of the Komi Republic Sergey Emelyanov. Alla Manilova will take part in the plenary session devoted to questions of the historical, cultural and spiritual community of Russians and Belarusians.

Participants of the program will visit the sights of Minsk - the National Art Museum, the Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War, the Church of All Saints, the church of St. Simeon and St. Helena.
