Children from Russia, France, Egypt, Bulgaria, Hungary, Uzbekistan and Armenia became participants in the “International Smart Holidays” session, which took place at the Orlyonok All-Russian Children's Center. Within three weeks, they were able to get acquainted with the history, culture and traditions of Russia and the countries participating in the project, the website of the World Coordinating Council of Russian Compatriots reports.

The session was organized by Rossotrudnichestvo with the participation of the state corporation Rosatom. Participants of the program enjoyed holidays on the Black Sea coast and a rich educational and cultural program.

Excursions and educational lessons were organized for children, as well as creative activities that allowed young guests to show their acting, dancing, musical and artistic abilities to their peers.

According to the representative of the delegation from Uzbekistan Katia Bukhman, the “smart” session helped her to find friends from different countries and learn a lot about Russia and other countries. In Uzbekistan, the winners of competitions for knowledge of Russian history and culture received tickets to Orlyonok.
