Monaco Princess to become honored guest at the Circus Festival in Urals

Monaco Princess Stephanie Maria Elisabetta to become honored guest at 12th International Circus Festival in Izhevsk, Udmurtia capital, RIA Novosti reports. The Princess to attend gala performance and award ceremony. 

Russian, Austrian, Czech, Australian, Mexican, Ethiopian, Chinese, British performers take part in the festival. There are about 200 people from 15 countries. They have prepared shows in all possible genres and styles. 

As Russkiy Mir reported, the contest is conducted under patronage of Princess Stefania. This contest is one of the most important in the world, therefore is non-officially called the “Circus Oscars.” Best performers strive to get an award - golden, silver, or bronze clown. Russian artists have opened the festival this January.
