The representatives of Far East, Siberian, Ural and Central regions of Russia will participate in the presentation of the investment potential of Russian regions, which will be held in Japan in February. The Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASI) and Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) will organize the presentation, Rossiyskaya Gazeta informs.

According to the General Director of ASI Svetlana Chupsheva, the Agency has already organized 10 similar presentations of Russian regions in European and Asian countries, such as Germany, France, Italy, China, etc. This format has proved its effectiveness. Through presentations the regions have been able to implement major projects with foreign participation.

The composition of the Russian delegation, which will participate in the presentation in Japan, was negotiated with the host country. These are the representatives of the most important regions for collaboration with Japan; first of all, Far East and Siberia. Along with that, the delegation consisted of the representatives of Central and North-Western Russia, including Moscow region and Kaliningrad.

According to Svetlana Chupsheva, the main difference in the upcoming presentation is that it brings together Russian business representatives, mostly from the field of technologies.
