Trans-Siberian Art Festival to broaden its borders

Trans-Siberian Art Festival geography has widened to such an extend that next year Carnegie Hall in New York to be included in it as well, TASS reports.

According to the festival organiser and art director, violinist Vadim Repin a similar program to be presented in Russian cities and overseas. The festival to take place in Israel, France, Japan as well.

Famous musician has also shared his plans to create festival's satellite in Brussels. He has explained that initially festival was planned to unite cultural paths of West and East, and it continues follow this direction, explained Repin.

Youth Trans-Siberian festival orchestra is going to be created the coming spring. Students from Novosibirsk are going to be taught by concertmasters from London. Organisers discuss Harbin festival's tour and prepare Tannhäuser opera staging with world-recognised singers.

Educational part of the festival is developing fast. Meetings between famous teachers and students have grown into year-round system of master classes. 

Vadim Repin has started the festival back in 2014 at his home city Novosibirsk.
