Russian school in Sydney celebrated 25th anniversary

Dozens of Russian Harmony school  graduates and students participated in celebration of the school's 25th anniversary in  Sydney, Australia, reports the local Edinenie Newspaper. 

Russian compatriots' kids mostly go to the school on Saturdays. Meanwhile Australian school introduced extracurricular Russian language lessons under the Russian diaspora influence. Now about 100 Australians study there. 

Songs, dances and Russian language sketches took place at the anniversary ceremony. The Mayor of the Municipality of Woollahra Peter Kavanagh who was presented at the celebration, told that Russian language community is very active in the area. Parents are happy that kids that grow often in mixed families, have great language practice.
