Eurasia People's Choir Forum starts in Paris

French capital hosts the Eurasia People's Choir Forum for three days, June 21-23. The event aims to introduce all the diversity of the Eurasian Choir singing. Concerts, music master classes, scientific meetings are on the schedule. Thirteen ensembles come to the forum,  Maxim&Co reports.

Choirs from France, Russia, Israel, Georgia and Armenia will perform sacred music tonight, folklore and academic concerts to follow in the two consecutive days. 

Moscow Conservatory teacher and conductor Alexander Solovyev will give master class tomorrow, while Vilnius Conservatory professor Svetlana Miniotas will proceed the following day with an open lesson. She will illustrate her teaching methods in dialogue with her young students from The Russian Orthodox Spiritual and Cultural Centre in Paris. 

Composers and conductors from Russia, Germany and Lithuania to participate in Musicologists conference on June 22. Organisers plan to make the Eurasia People's Choir Forum an annual event.
