Foreign schoolchildren to study Russian in International Children’s Camp Artek

Schoolchildren from abroad can take part in the specialized camp session on the Russian language at the International Children’s Camp Artek until June 18. Applications are to be sent to the website of Pushkin State Russian Language Institute.

The camp will open doors for foreign schoolchildren on August 7 where they will study with the Institute experts and volunteers of the international program Ambassadors of the Russian Language in the World. At this, according to organizers, a customized program awaits every single child to correspond to their level of the linguistic knowledge. Apart from the Russian language lessons, there will be master-classes, flash mobs on the subject of the Russian folklore, literature and eloquence.

Selecting participants is online process, young foreigners or Russian kids living abroad are welcome to take part in it. The age of the candidates ranges from 11 to 17 years old. Each team consists of 5 – 10 people. A number of teams is not limited. A leader of the group sends an application in the name of their groups. One of the terms for participation is recoding a video where all team members read a verse in Russian.
