Russian-French University to launch double-degree program

The 4th session of the Board of Rectors of the Russian – French University was held at St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, TASS informs.

Russian-French University is an alliance of the largest universities of Russia and France with the mission to create a ground for scientific and educational cooperation and to supply highly educated specialists for international companies. 

Russian-French University was founded in 2016. It comprises such universities as Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration, Academy of External Trade Relations at the Ministry of the Economic Development of the Russian Federation, Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia, University of Nice and leading business schools of France - EDHEC BS, NEOMA BS, SKEMA BS. This year an agreement about entering St. Petersburg ITMO University into Russian-French project was signed.

Amendments to the Charter of the University were approved during the meeting. These amendments provide equal rights to all the member institutions. A decision was made on launching the double degree program starting this September.  Students can get two diplomas right away – the diploma of Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy Public Administration and the one of University of Nice.

A Bachelor’s program Centre d’Études Supérieures Européennes de Management has been started. It will be implemented in tandem with NEOMA business-school and Business and Public Administration Institute.

We are trying to address all today’s challenges as soon as possible during our work. The requirements of the digital technologies’ age are fully reflected in our joint Russian-French project – Russian – French University, which is built on the network basis and supposes extensive application of the digital technologies,” Rector of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration Vladimir Mau said.
