The fashion for Russia grows stronger among the Egyptians. Egypt has always sustained favourable attitude towards our country, which has recently become evident, TASS informs.

Tourism played a major part in greater amiability towards the Russians. The Red Sea resorts have remained the most popular destinations for the beach holidays for a long time for our tourists. Russian tourists were travelling to Egypt even during the most unrestful political times.

Unfortunately, the situation changed after the Sinai plane crash, but the flight connection between Moscow and Cairo has been resumed.

Russian-Egyptian relations became stronger after Abdel Fattah El-Sisi came to rule the country. He is very friendly towards Vladimir Putin. Economic development is also growing – Russia is to build the first Atomic Power Station in Egypt. Besides, the Russian industrial area at the north-west of Egypt is to start operating in the nearest future.

Another factor which influenced growth of amiability to Russia is football. The Egyptians adore this game. The national team have been selected for FIFA World Cup to be held in our country for the first time over the last 30 years.

TV programs on Egyptian television prove great interest to Russia as well. One of the most popular TV shows is also connected to Russia. Its scenery is unwrapped in our country, where the temperature is very low and there is a trained white bear on the screen.
