German schoolchildren attending Crimea are much impressed with a huge scope of the international children’s center Artek. According to them, looking at the camp from the viewing grounds, they have understood that there is not a similar camp for children in Germany or Europe, RIA Novosti reports.

The Space Museum in Artek evoked vivid interest of the guests from Germany, They could feel like real cosmonauts sitting inside the training space ship which first cosmonauts used as a training device before their flight to open space.

Youth from Germany attended the laboratories of robotic science, composite materials, air modelling. They have looked around digital laboratories of the Artek school.

Note that children took part in the Days of Russian-German children people’s diplomacy held in Yalta. The delegation consisted of 17 people who came from different German cities.

This project is a part of the extensive program of Academy of Children People’s Diplomacy. Children got acquainted with their peers and got to know the Russian culture and traditions better during this program.

Organizers of the event remark that in some time, these children will build future of Germany and they will remember these days spent in Crimea. This would help improve interstate relations and stop spreading Russophobia throughout Germany.
