Russian Paralympians win two golds and one more silver

Another day of 2018 Winter Paralympics in PyeongChang brought three awards into the medal collection of Russian sportsmen, IA Interfax reports.

Mikhalina Lysova became the champion in the 12,5km biathlon race. She competed for the victory among the visually impaired sportsmen. Anna Milenina won gold in the women's sprint classic style in the standing category on the same distance. Another Russian para athlete Ekaterina Rumyansteva occupied the second place being just a bit behind her.

Russian Paralympians won 20 awards two days before the end of the Winter Paralympics in PyeongChang. Para athletes from Russia took 8 gold, 8 silver and 4 bronze medals. Thus, the Russian Paralympic team occupies the second line of the total medal count.
