Russian schoolchildren have earned almost 40 medals in 2017

Russian schoolchildren have earned almost 40 medals at various international olympiads, TASS reports. According to the Head of Ministry of Education Olga Vasilyeva, kids participated in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Informatics, Geography, Astronomy, Mathematics and Science competitions.

There are 18 golden, 14 silver and 6 bronze medals in total.

The Education Minister especially noted achievements of our school teams in Physics and Science Olympiads. All teams' members became winners.

It is worth mentioning, Olga Vasilyeva stated, that the title of the “Best Chemist in the World” belongs to the Russian high-schooler.

Russian team has also successfully performed among 80 countries at The International Olympiad in Informatics, taking the third place.

Russian schoolchildren are included in the top five at the Geography, Astronomy and Astrophysics Olympiad.
