British Prime Minister Theresa May has stated that London is deporting 23 Russian diplomats. Prime Minister called them secret agents. They should leave the country within a week, TASS informs.

In her opinion, Moscow has misused the violence in relation to UK in the Skripal’s case.

English authorities are going to check private planes, toughen customs cargo examination procedures. May promised to freeze Russian assets in case London decides that they may threaten lives or property of UK nationals or country’s residents.

“There are two possible variants: either this is a direct act of the Russian authorities against our country or, possibly, Russian government lost control over reserves of the poisoning substance and let its leakage into the third parties’ hands,” Prime Minister said.

At this, May has underlined that the full breakage of a dialogue between London and Moscow does not meet British national interests.

Russian Ambassador to London Alexander Yakovenko has claimed that Russia sees such actions of the British Parliament around the Skripal’s case as a provocation. Ambassador has called the UK position unacceptable and added that Russia would never speak the language of ultimatums.
