Putin calls to promote Russian technologies, to aim global cooperation

Domestic scientific research provides sovereignty for our country, claimed Russian President at the Science and Education board meeting. It took place today in Novosibirsk, official Kremlin website reports.

Putin has underlined that national scientific field needs to develop cooperation with other countries. Mega-grants programme has to be implied for this matter since it lets more foreign scientists to organise powerful international scientific research teams in Russia.

Russian President said that recognised scientists as well as those who just beginning their career have to understand that Russia is a great country for an interesting and fulfilling work.

Putin persuaded that Russia would eagerly take part in such major projects as Large Hadron Collider and experimental Fusion Reactor Iter in France. As a participant Russia has right for results of these experiments to use them for the country's development.

The President has stressed that our country has its own technologies and competences which are an important resource for ensuring national sovereignty.
