Alaska wants to partner with Far Eastern regions

wikipedia.orgU.S. Consul General Michael Keays has informed Chukotka governor Roman Kopin that Alaska is ready to work with Far East, TASS reports.

According to Chukotka District press-service, Keays has shared news about recent official meetings with Alaska representatives. All fields from diplomacy to culture were discussed. As Michael Keays shared, most of the participants voted for cooperation renewal between our countries.

In the March of 2017, Russian President has stated that Alaska and Russia will begin collaboration in various fields. As an example he referred to the visa-free regime for Russians and US citizens residing in the Bering Strait area.

Let us remember, In a course of Alaska delegation visit in Russia, sides have reached an agreement on developing Russian-American humanitarian relations in September 2017.
