Chinese diplomat calls Moscow and Beijing for joining to counteract US

Russia and China should join in order to counteract pressure exerted by USA on the both countries, Military Attaché of Chinese Defense Department in Moscow Kui Yangway is sure, RIA Novosti informs. He made this statement during the meeting with the Russian Senator Viktor Bondarev heading the Committee of the Upper House of the Parliament for Defense and Security.

At the end of last week, Pentagon published a revised version of the US National Defense Strategy. The US Defense Ministry calls rivalry with Moscow and Beijing main priority of the United States. Pentagon claims that these two counties are the central threats for security and flourishing of America.

Kui Yangway has remarked that US and other Western countries are trying to constrain Russia in the European part of the world and China in the Asian part. That is why the Russian Federation should join to counteract the global threats and challenges of US and its allies. Military Attaché has expressed assuredness that this would facilitate a better security and stability in the regions and all across the world.

Chinese Defense Department has stated that the US defense strategy is full of false and even absurd articles and called Washington for renouncing the Cold War mentality.

Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has regretfully claimed that Washington claims rights for taking the lead with help of confrontation and avoiding a normal dialogue.
