Thirty-two-year-old Russian player took 16th place. There are also two actual NHL players in this list: Sidney Crosby (8th place) and Jaromir Jagr (23th place). Legendary Canadian hockey players Gordon "Gordie" Howe, Wayne Gretzky, Robert “Bobby” Orr have taken leading positions in the top-25.

It is worth reminding, Russian hockey player has entered the list of twenty best hockey scorers over the entire history of National Hockey League. Washington Capitals forward kicked into the San Jose’s gates his twenties' goal in this season to occupy twentieth place in the ranking. Alexander Ovechkin played 949 matches in NHL and hit 578 goals. Alexander Ovechkin has played in NHL since 2005. This year, he was included in the list of 100 greatest NHL players of all time.
