Alexandrov Ensemble conducts major concert tour in Poland

Sergey Bobulev/Ministry of Defense of RF press service of Beginning of Alexandrov Ensemble's tour in Poland can be called a success, TASS reports. The very first performance has happened yesterday in Częstochowa, local fans met artists with a round of applause and were thrilled.

According to organazirs, the ensemble came to Poland for the first time since last year's tragic air crash.

The updated cast has brought such Russian song favorites as Katiusha, Holy War, Victory Day, Kalinka, etc. Traditionally the ensemble prepares few concert acts specially for the country where it makes the show. This time Alexandrov Ensemble performed with outstanding success Red Poppies on Monte Cassino and Brunettes and Blondes .

Alexandrov Ensemble's tour continues in Warsaw, Zabrze, Toruń, Olsztyn, and Białystok.

Let us remind that the Russian aircraft with nine journalists, humanitarian worker and charity activist Elizaveta Glinka and 64 Alexandrov Ensemble performers crushed into the Black Sea early morning of December, 25.
