World Philosophy Day was celebrated in Florence

Conference in the frames of to World Philosophy Day was held in University of Florence. It lasted from November 14 to 17 and was dedicated to history of Russian-Florentine philosophical and cultural connections. The event was held with anticipation of Russian Center in Pisa.

Tour around places of famous philosophers and writers in Florence was guided by Russian philosopher and political scientist, author of Famous Russians in Florence book A. Kara-Murza. Russian compatriots, Italian students who learn Russian language went to the places where lived and worked famous Russian intellectuals, such as Chaadaev, Stankevich, Herzen, Karsavin, Soloviev, and others.
