Compatriots' consolidation discussed at NYC Russian Youth Forum

ksors.orgThird Russian Youth Forum–2017 with participation of Russian-speaking compatriots 18-35 years old took place in Russian Embassy in New York, as per the website of Coordinating Council of Russian Compatriots in the USA. Russian Center in New York, Congress of Russian Americans, Ethnomir and Gorchakov Public Diplomacy Fund supported the forum.

Russian Ambassador in US Anatoly Antonov has greeted the guests wishing them fruitful work and success.

Consolidation of Russian-American Youth in US, preservation of Russian language, traditions and culture were among the most important topics of the forum. In overall participants gave several dozens speeches casing heated discussions. Best projects were presented and awarded, as was planned.

Russian Youth Forum–2017 has become an optimal information source of situation in Russia and its policy towards its compatriots living abroad.

Forum organizers accommodated extensive cultural program as well. Russian choir of the Yale University, Salut-7 film screening and exhibition devoted to the 60th anniversary of the first Russian satellite were among most engaging events.
