3D versions of Pushkin and Gagarin like to make a selfie

mos.ru3D doppelgangers of Yuri Gagarin, Viktor Tsoy and Alexander Pushkin have reached the highest popularity among Discover Moscow Photo application users, RIA Novosti reports. 5,3 thousand users have made photos with a virtual copy of Gagarin, the Rock star Tsoy “poses" with 5,1 thousand fans, and the symbol of Russian poetry is on selfie with about 5,1 thousand people.

A user starts the engaging quest after choosing one of 60 routes. It is possible to make a picture with one of the doppelgangers at the end of each quest. Special compass helps to find the location of the famous person’s digital twin. Once the smartphone owner approaches a chosen doppelganger in the radius of 50 meters, he or she will appear in the app to make a selfie.

The app developers have added to the list of the public figures famous Soviet goalkeeper Lev Yashin, 19th century writers Fedor Dostoevsky and Lev Tolstoy.
