British tourists enjoyed Crimea

Tourists group from Great Britain has visited Crimea, RIA Novosti reports. As the head of the Republic parliament’s Committee on Resorts and Tourism Alexey Chernyak explained, it was the very first organized touristic group in Crimea after the peninsula has entered the Russian Federation.

Let us remind you that British citizens are mostly interested in Military-historical topic, like the Crimean War (1853—1856). National touristic companies have also prepared interesting routes around the WW2 places, that extend from Sevastopol to Bakchisaray district, from Kerch to Feododosia.

The agreement aboout these tour programs was reached last fall, during the World Travel Market in London. Crimean touristic companies awaiting more groups from Great Britaign, China and Italy.

This year four Crimean cities have entered top-10 best Russian resorts that have become popular with foreigners. These cities are Yalta, Alushta, Feodosia, and Sevastopol.
