Sovremennik brings Three Sisters to London

Flickr/nyclondonguyThe Sovremennik Theater tour starts in London on May 3. Three plays are to be shown on Piccadilly Theatre's stage. Three Sisters by Anton Checkov, Three Comrades by Erich Maria Remarque, and Two for the Seesaw by William Gibson to be performed. These three theatrical diamonds are utterly popular, and Sovremennik's stagings are beloved around the world.

Theater representatives stressed that they wanted to show British audience the symbol of the Nationl Russian culture, contemporary psychological Stanislavsky's theater.

There are many famous names in the playbill, such as Chulpan Khamatova, Sergey Yushkevich, Kirill Safonov, Olga Drozdova, Alena Babenko, and others.
