Famous British Library is preparing to celebrate the One-century Russian Revolution anniversary. The huge exposition Russian Revolution: Hope, Tragedy, Myths is dedicated to the historical date.

There are posters, military arms, pictures, audio and video recordings from various collections, including the private ones. More than 200 historical documents will be on view, including library application sign-in letter by Vladimir Lenin. As the exhibition organizers specified, Lenin worked in the library each time he was in London. Unfortunately there's no information on the books and periodical he was reading.

The exhibit will last until the end of August.

Let us remind you, British capital dedicates a lot of attention to the Russian revolution this year. The Royal Academy of Arts opened exhibit Revolution: Russian Art 1917–1932, and also the cinema festival devoted to the same topic, started recently in London. Another exposition of Soviet graphics and posters Ruby Star Above Russia will open its doors on November 8th.
