As we informed earlier, Russia participates in The London Book Fair-2017. Thirty publishing houses introduce more than 450 book titles to the avid readers. The authors who celebrate anniversary this year are in the primary focus. Among them K. Paustovsky, M. Tsvetaeva, M. Voloshin, V. Shalamov.

Within the framework of the London Book Fair activities, Russian stand organizes Q&A with authors Alisa Ganieva, Alexey Ivanov, Vadim Levental. Book illustrations of our young artists for the famous English books will be presented at the expo as well.

British translators will show their recent interpretations of some Russian books.

Presentation of the project TransLit will surely capture the audience. Young Russian and British writers will talk about the incredible journey along the Trans-Siberian railway. Fascinating story of this trip from 2016 is published on our site.

TV and Literature project The Ridge of Russia will introduce documentary made by Leonid Parfenov and Alexey Ivanov, and based on A. Ivanov’s namesake book. The film with amazing nature footage will depict unique story of the Ural Mountains.

The volumes left after the sale will be given to the representative of The Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States.
