Arts Square Festival Opens in St. Petersburg

Yuri Temirkanov will conduct his philharmonic orchestra tonight at the start of the 11th Arts Square international festival in St. Petersburg, Voice of Russia reports.

The event, marking  the end of the Year of France in Russia, will also feature performances by the Radio France Orchestra conducted by the famed Myung Wong Chung, and by Thomas Block, who plays the glass accordion and crystal organ.
