The International Slavic Culture Festival Svetoch


The 6th International Festival of Slavic Cultures Svetoch (Light) will be held in Pärnu from 22 to 26 August 2019 with the support of the Russkiy Mir Foundation. The best dance and musical groups, soloists, masters of decorative and applied art from Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Bulgaria, Latvia and other European countries are invited to the festival.

Festival program:

08.22.2019 - city tours;

- A concert of Orthodox sacred music in the Temple of St. Catherine the Great Martyr (Vee, 8);
- Concerts in open areas of the city (Children's Park, Martens Square)
- Exhibitions of arts and crafts. Master Classes (Concert Hall, Aida, 4);
–The grand opening ceremony. We are together concert.

- Competitions of vocalists, choirs, musical ensembles, dance groups, arts and crafts. (Concert Hall, Aida, 4);
- Master classes of dance and vocal art
- Creative meetings with artists of the Russian Theater of Estonia, culture figures;
- Ceremonial reception of heads of creative teams and the jury with the Pärnu Municipality, sponsors of the festival, representatives of the Estonian Ministry of Culture and representatives of the embassies of the participating countries of the festival.
The results of the competition. Solemn presentation of special diplomas.
