Gagarin Bust Unveiled in Chicago
The International Philanthrophy Foundation "Dialogue of Cultures - United World" led by director Ruslan Bairamov presented a bust of Yuri Gagarin, the first comonaut in the world, to the Adler Planetarium in Chicago, one of Moscow' sister cities. The event included an afternoon panel discussion with cosmonaut Dumitru-Dorin Prunariu, who discussed the significance of Gagarin’s pioneering flight and and his personal experiences and mission accomplishments as part of the international space program.
