The Downfall of Russia – 1917: Presentation of a New Book by Vyacheslav Nikonov

On September 30, the presentation of a new book titled The Downfall of Russia – 1917 was held at the School of Public Administration of Moscow State University. The book's author is Vyacheslav Nikonov, Executive Director of the Russkiy Mir Foundation and Dean of the School of Public Administration. A well-known historian and political scientist, the author retells the events and circumstances surrounding the collapse of the Russian Empire in 1917, in particular the efforts undertaken to manage the state as it fell into ruin.

Speaking at the book presentation, Nikonov noted that it is not only about Russia in 1917, it is also about contemporary Russia and Russians and how to turn the country into a presperous, stroung and self-confident state.
