Russians Sweep Podium in Free Skating at Euros

Russian pairs grabbed all medals in free skating on Thursday night at the European Figure Skating Championship in Britain’s Sheffield, RIA Novosti reports.
The gold went to Tatyana Volosozhar and Maxim Trankov after judges awarded them 210.45 points on the aggregate for their program.
They were followed by Vera Bazarova and Yury Larionov with 193.79 points.
Another Russian pair, Ksenia Stolbova and Fyodor Klimov skated for the aggregate of 171.81 points to take bronze medals.
