Russian Wrestlers Win Gold and 2 Bronzes in Moscow

Two-time European champion Ambako Vachnadze brought Russia its first gold in the up to 66 kg category in the World Greco-Roman Wrestling Championships now on in Moscow, Voice of Russia reports.
In the final bout Vachnadze defeated Ukraine's Armen Vardanyan. Turkey's Vazif Arzimanov and Vitaly Rakhimov of Azerbaijan shared the bronze medal.
Nazir Mankiev and Aslanbek Khushtov, both of Russia, finished third in the up to 55 kg and 96 kg weight category respectively.
Nearly 1,500 wrestlers from more than 100 countries are taking part in the competition.
