Russia and Azerbaijan Sign State Border Agreement

Russia and Azerbaijan have signed an agreement between the two countries on the state border. The signing ceremony was held according to the results of talks between Dmitry Medvedev and Ilkham Aliyev, ITAR-TASS reports. A supplement to the agreement with the description of the state border passing was also signed.
An additional agreement to the contract on purchase and sale of natural gas between the state company of Azerbaijan and Gazprom on the increase of gas supplies in 2011-2012 was also signed in the presence of the leaders.
The sides also concluded an agreement between the two countries’ governments on the rational use and guarding of the trans-border river Samur.
