The St. Petersburg International Cultural Forum - Forum of United Cultures starts on Thursday, November 16, TASS reports. It will be held for the 9th time, for the first time after a three-year break. The forum brings together cultural figures, leading experts, businessmen and government officials. They are joined by heads of large organizations not only from Russia, but also from foreign countries.

The St. Petersburg International Cultural Forum, a prestigious event organized by the Russian government, the Culture Ministry, and St. Petersburg's government, is globally recognized. Each year, it gathers thousands of cultural experts worldwide, including prominent figures from theater, opera, ballet, directors, musicians, public figures, government officials, business professionals, and the academic community.

The Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova believes that the forum's theme should be explored in the context of a new stage in civilization development. She is confident that there is ample room for discussion, not just within the country but also with colleagues from abroad.

Culture Minister Olga Lyubimova highlighted that the forum has rejected the concept of "unfriendly countries." Participants include representatives from Japan, Italy, China, Serbia, South Africa, Iran, France, and various other states.

The Hermitage, the General Staff building, the Russian Ethnographic Museum and the State Academic Chapel of St. Petersburg will become the Forum's venues. The three-day program will include thematic sessions, such as Theatre, Museums, Business Culture and others.

Vladimir Putin intends to attend a cultural forum. The program includes nine thematic blocks, and it is planned to sign cooperation documents and memorandums.
