Russian teachers are starting to teach students in the Central African Republic (CAR). The issue of opening a Russian language there is being discussed. The day before, a delegation from the Russian Peoples' Friendship University (RUDN) arrived in the capital of the country, the Lie low in Bangui telegram channel reports.

During the meeting, the project of creating a center for studying the Russian language at the University of Bangui was discussed. Teachers from RUDN University will begin teaching university students in the capital of the Central African Republic from October, 19.

The emergence of the center will mark the full-scale return of the Russian language to the African country. In the 60s and the 70s of the last century, Russian was studied not only in the capital, but throughout the CAR. Currently, there is great interest in the country in restoring the teaching of the Russian language.
