All-China Russian Language Competition took place in Beijing

On October 28 – 29, 2023, the 16th All-China Russian Language Competition for undergraduate and graduate students was held at the Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU). About 400 undergraduate and graduate students from Chinese universities took part in the event.

The first round of the competition was writing. As a result, 60 students received the right to study in Russia with the state support. In the second round, the contestants showed their speaking skills by talking on given topics and stories based on situations in the pictures. The first 6 people from each category took part in the final competition. The students showed high skill in translation from Chinese into Russian and vice versa.
