150 students from 34 countries were united by the International Historical School, Rossiyskaya Gazeta reports. It started working in Novosibirsk and became the 6th in a row. The event is hosted by the Russian Historical Society (RHS).

According to the organizers, the forum will allow foreign students studying at Russian universities to learn more about the masterpieces of Russian culture and immerse themselves in the history of the country. In addition, the forum provides networking opportunities.

Listeners were offered a variety of topics to study, including ''Asian Russia at the crossroads of world cultures”, ''Urbanism and urban everyday life in the USSR'', ''Russian literary heritage''. Beginning researchers will work on creating their own historical and educational projects. The most interesting of them will receive support from the History of the Fatherland Foundation.

In his address, the head of RHS Sergei Naryshkin noted that from the point of view of history, Novosibirsk can rightfully be called the capital of Siberia. This is not just a city of labor valor, but also one of the largest scientific centers in the country.
