Pushkin's lines in Russian, Spanish and Arabic were recited in the capital of Ecuador, the MAPRYAL website reports. The great poet's works were read during a forum in Quito, which became a part of the "Pushkin Without Borders" international program. The CLE Cultural Foundation acted as an organizer. The forum launched a whole series of events dedicated to the birthday of the great Russian poet, which is celebrated on June, 6.

Diplomats from Russia, Lebanon, Turkey and Qatar, as well as UNESCO staff and scientists, teachers and cultural figures from Ecuador joined the forum participants. The conversation was about how great is the place of the poet in the development of world civilization.
