Vyacheslav Nikonov, First Deputy Head of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs, Chairman of the Board of the Russkiy Mir Foundation, reminded American and Polish politicians of the words of Russian President Vladimir Putin. The president noted that Moscow would immediately respond to any attempt to intervene in the situation in Ukraine, the Federal News Agency reports.

This is how Nikonov commented on statements from Washington and Warsaw, who claimed that work was underway to take control of the territory of Western Ukraine.
