Russian skiers win World Cup relay for 1st time in 17 years

The team of Russian skiers showed the best result in the relay race among women at the World Cup in Norway. The Russian four won the World Cup for the first time since 2004, TASS reports.

The Russian team covered the 5-kilometer distance in 54 minutes 40.6 seconds, the rivals from the Swedish team were more than a second behind the winners. The Norvegian team came running third. The second Russian team showed the 8th result.

Yulia Stupak, Natalya Nepryaeva, Tatyana Sorina and Veronika Stepanova became the winners of the race.
