Russian and Cuban leaders discuss common approaches in world affairs

Joint statement on common approaches in international affairs following talks in Moscow was signed by Russian and Cuban leaders, TASS reports.

Vladimir Pun and Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez have condemned the use of unilateral coercive measures in the international arena. Using these measures in order to endures changes of governments were a particular cause for concern. 

Russia confirms solidarity with Cuba fighting for economic and financial US blockade cancellation. 

Moscow and Havana have also called Washington to reconsider their decision to leave INF Treaty.

According to Russian leader the talks were held in friendly and constructive manner.

Traditions of mutual respect and sympathy are connecting Cuban and Russian people for many years, Vladimir Putin underlined. In the course of last years the economic relations are also getting much better, said Russian leader. 

The Cuban leader is on state visit to Russia at the invitation of President Vladimir Putin. Diaz-Canel has arrived yesterday, November 1. Following meeting with Russian President, tomorrow, November 3, Cuban leader will sit for talks with Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.

Diaz-Canel Bermudez noted that his visit means continuity of the relationship of Cuban Revolution with Russian Federation. He's invited Putin to visit Cuba next year.
