Russian Cinema Masterpieces series held in Lublin

Russian Cinema Masterpieces series of lectures have started at the Russian Language Center of University of Maria Curie-Sklodowska in Lublin, Poland.This course is conducted jointly with Slavic and East European Languages faculty of the university.

The course presentation comprised a lecture on the most successful Russian and Soviet films that have worn recognized cinema awards, such as Oscars, Golden Globe, Palme d'or at the Festival de Cannes, the Golden Bear-Berlin, et cetera. In the course of the coming months students will acknowledge amazing Russian film history beginning from 20s of the XX century, silent movies, proceeding to the cult Soviuet movies and towards the most important films of the XXI century.
