Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov has claimed that this decision shall be taken having regard to the changing events on the ground. Bogdanov has stated that there's a certain contingency plan. “Decision on evacuation is going to be taken dictated by the security situation and its further development,” concluded the diplomat.

He has underlined that Moscow supports Iraq's sovereignty and territorial integrity, and called to each party to remain engaged in constructive dialogue within the existing Constitution.

It's worth mentioning that Iraqi Kurdistan region voted on independence referendum. Official Baghdad did not agree to recognize it denouncing the referendum as "unconstitutional" and starting military operation in the oil field area located near Kurdish-held city of Kirkuk.
